Are you an accredited investor?
Securities law restricts the sale of certain products to "accredited investors" only. There are a number of ways investors may qualify as an accredited investor. If an individual meets any one of the criteria below, they may be considered an accredited investor:
- Your net income before taxes was more than $200,000 in each of the two most recent calendar years and you expect it to exceed $200,000 in this calendar year.
- Your net income before taxes combined with your spouse's was more than $300,000 in each of the two most recent calendar years and you expect your combined net income to exceed $300,000 in this calendar year.
- Either alone or with your spouse, you own cash and securities worth more than $1 million, less any related debt.
- Either alone or with your spouse, you own net assets (being total assets, including real estate, less total debt) worth more than $5 million.
The minimum initial investment for Accredited Investors who are investing in Class A or Class F Units is $25,000. The minimum investment for Class I Units is determined when an investor enters into a Class I Account Agreement with the Manager, subject to applicable securities laws.
The Manager reserves the right to change the minimum amounts for investments in the Fund at any time and from time to time subject to regulatory requirements.
